Zelle ® is a commonly used tool to digitally transfer payments to others, even if they do not use the same financial institution as you. You can only use Zelle® if your bank or credit union has integrated the service into its mobile app or online banking.

How can Meritrust members send payments to non-members?
Meritrust offers Pay a Person, which allows our members to send money to friends or family without needing their account number. When you’re ready to send a payment, we’ll provide a secure link that you can provide to the transaction recipient. You can access Pay a Person in the Meritrust Mobile app under Services.
You can use Pay a Person to send money to both Meritrust members and non-members. Please note, only Meritrust Members can send you money via Pay a Person. If someone who is not a member wants to send money to your Meritrust account, they will need to contact their bank or credit union to initiate the payment.
